Ports and routes

Cargo for the west of the country arrives at Jeddah Islamic Port on the Red Sea. Cargo for Riyadh and the Eastern Province usually arrives at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, with Riyadh served by road or rail from there.

Certificates for Saudi imports

Many regulated products need a conformity certificate through Saudi Arabia's SABER system before they can be cleared. Food products need correct Arabic labelling and must meet Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) rules. Check these early: a missing certificate is the most common reason Saudi shipments get held. SABER is Saudi Arabia's online system for product conformity. Many regulated goods need a SABER certificate before customs will release them. Your buyer or a certification body arranges it, and we make sure the shipping documents match.
