Biosecurity: get the packing right

Australia checks imports closely for pests and contamination. Wooden pallets and crates must be ISPM-15 treated and marked, containers must be clean, and some goods need fumigation or a treatment certificate. Shipments that fail can be held, treated or sent back at the importer's cost. We pack and document your cargo to these rules.

Lower duty under India–Australia ECTA

The India–Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) removes Australian duty on many Indian goods. Your buyer needs a valid certificate of origin to claim it, and we help you get one that matches the invoice.

Common questions

Why is packing so important for Australia?

Australian biosecurity rules are strict. Untreated wooden packaging, dirty containers or missing treatment certificates can lead to holds, treatment or re-export at the importer's cost.

Do Indian goods pay duty in Australia?

Under the India–Australia ECTA, many Indian goods enter duty-free with a valid certificate of origin. GST and other charges may still apply in Australia.
